TEM Laos Induction Cookstove project
TEM's e-cookstove project in Laos introduces induction cookstoves powered by electricity to replace traditional open-flame cooking methods that use timber, charcoal, or gas. Launched in Savannakhet Province, the pilot distributed 68 cookstoves, eliminating smoke production and improving household health by reducing smoke inhalation. Each cookstove reduces carbon emissions by an estimated 2.4 tonnes of CO2 annually, contributing to both environmental and health benefits.
