Our world has changed very negatively through excess and excessive striving for profit, as climate change, plastic pollution and many other environmental problems drastically show. All these problems must be mastered by the next generations. Take 3 for the Sea is a global initiative from Australia that uses cross-border awareness raising and training to make young people aware of the upcoming environmental problems and they are motivated to behave in an environmentally friendly manner. The focus here is on avoiding or collecting plastic waste. Around 10 million thrown away items are collected and disposed in 129 countries every year. Many 100,000 young people are already committed to Take 3. The global reach via social media is around 50 million.
