Title: Innovations in masters program in physics and natural science
The project for the development of MSc program "Natural science, climate change and technologies for sustainable development" is financed in Latvia by the EU Structural Funds. Academics at the University of Latvia are being mobilized to develop new interdisciplinary natural science masters curricula that include an Internet version and an English version. The project builds on the team’s experience in the project Physics and technologies for sustainable development (1997-2006) and the organization of two large-scale conferences (1st and 2nd international conferences on holistic approaches towards sustainability) financed by the 5th and 6th Framework Program of the EU.
