Title: Biological exhaust air cleaning with heat recovery

The process is suggested for cleansing exhaust air that contains pollutants and oxygen by treatment with an aqueous microorganism suspension; it is similar to the principle of a water treatment plant in the chemical cleansing stage. The goal of this development is a process that is independent of a biological waste water treatment plant and that provides its own microorganism suspension that does not come in contact with the water. The project involves the following core topics: Process for odor elimination with a positive energy balance Self-regenerating biological washer with coupled heat pump Applicable in agriculture, business and Industry Can be used for all dimensions of exhaust streams that contain oxygen and any size of active carbon (or ammoniac).
