Title: The Environmental League to Motivate Environmental Behavior
In order to minimize environmental pollution due to the operation of a school, a motivational game, “The Environmental League”, was conducted with the cooperation of the students. Through energy saving, avoiding or separating waste, and behavior to optimize cleanliness, each class sought to earn as many points as possible. The class with the most points won. There were a monthly and an annual valuation. The overall winning class was awarded money and the monthly winners got Trans-Fair chocolate. The game enabled savings of 26% on energy, 11% on waste and 12% on cleaning agents. Social behavior and sensible treatment of resources was learned by playing.
