Title: Za Hung Hydropower Project
The Za Hung Hydropower Project involves the construction of a 28 MW power plant consisting of 2 units of 14 MW each on the A Vuong River (a tributary of the Boung River) in Dong Giang district of Quang Nam province of Vietnam. The estimated gross annual power generation is about 110.3 million kWh and will be fed to the national grid with 109.2 million kWh. The project will flood only a reservoir with an area of 22.99 ha. The power density rate is 121.8 W/m2, very much higher than other hydropower plants in Vietnam such as Thac Ba, Da Nhim and, Tri An.
