Title: Energy Goes Back to School
The main objective of the realized projects is the sensitization of students, teenagers and teachers regarding global climate change, renewable energy and sustainable energy supply. The project fiftyfifty was able to reduce energy consumption by changing the people’s habits. The school directly benefited through 50% of the saved energy costs. Through the transnational projects in Slovenia – Eco-camp and Solar Partnership – two solar facilities with a panel area of 18 m² for the partner schools in Slovenia and Austria were constructed and put into operation by the students. These facilities not only supply hot water but also serve as a demonstration tool for teachers, parents and municipal representatives.
