Title: Sustainable Multi-Family Residential Area

This multi-story, multi-family housing project aims to reduce the primary energy input in comparison to common technologies by 50% per year for heating and hot water preparation. To achieve this aim without any comfort loss, a biomass facility as well as a solar plant for hot water preparation will be used, and decentralized hot water preparation in the individual apartments will be managed via the flow cycle principle. An additional part of the energy efficiency of the building will be guaranteed through the complete heat insulated building envelope. Because solar energy is used not only for hot water but also to support heating, it is possible to gain an additional 10% of solar power with the same amount of sun panels.
