Title: Hydrosolar 21
The goal is to use renewable energy based on a solar chiller and fuel cells in a 2400 m² incubator system for lighting and cooling. Power generation is achieved with solar cells (photovoltaic and solar chillers), supported by mini-wind turbines depending on seasonal conditions. The resulting energy is stored as hydrogen via water electrolysis to allow its use at a later time. Generation, storage and energy utilization are 100% free of CO2 emissions. The solar chiller as well as the generation and storage of hydrogen was specially developed by researchers and tested on various prototypes. This technology will be brought to market in the coming years.
