Title: Advocacy and lobbying
Rural Development Project (RDP) is a local non-profit advocacy organization for environmental issues and the social and economic rights of people. The organization works with affected communities in remote rural areas, creates networks among them, and launches campaigns to protect their rights. The current report and the documentation are part of the advocacy battle. Even if neither the report nor the documentation meets research standards, the initiatives are economical and are conducted by indigents without external help. RDP strives to support local environment initiatives so that people have the possibility of assuming leadership and asserting their rights. The organization advocates filter systems for factories, environmentally friendly heating materials, health facilities, a development plan, and job opportunities.
