Title: Internet, Communication and Education Service (NICE)
NICE is a network of wireless and solar-operated multiple-service shops in developing countries. The first test shops were set up in Gambia. They offer an affordable selection of services, including Internet, communication, battery loading and training. As an enterprise at the bottom of the pyramid, NICE achieves sustainable development by promoting entrepreneurship and the building of a local economy in cooperation with large NGOs, including the IT training provided in the shops and the promotion of health services.
