Title: Renewable cogenerative power plant EE 100

The initiative for the renewable cogenerative power plant EE 100 links and controls 36 wind, solar, biomass and hydro-electric power plants spread across Germany. The project demonstrates how the joint control of smaller, decentralized plants can provide electricity from renewable energy sources that meet needs and are reliable. Wind energy plants and solar modules contribute to power generations, depending on the availability of wind and sun. Biogas and hydro-electric power complement the package: as needed, they can be converted to power or temporarily stored. EE 100 proves the feasibility of complete generation with renewable energy sources and renounces arguments that the availability of power from renewables is too weather-dependent.
