Title: Good water neighborhood
"Good water makes good neighbors" is a regional project initiated by the Friends of the Earth Middle East. The project is managed from three offices in Tel Aviv, Bethlehem and Amman; there are field service employees representing each of the cities. This project was launched to address inadequate water management in the regions. In Israel, Palestine and Jordan fresh water and natural resources scarce and suffer from the lack of sustainable management strategies. Because water knows no political boundaries and water resources are used jointly, sustainable management of water resources must have a comprehensive perspective and treat all populations and municipalities fairly.
