Title: Heritage coupled with high-tech
This project renovated a wooden house out of the 16th century with modern HVAC technology. A photovoltaic system was installed to supply power. Heating is supplied by a thermal solar system and an air/water heat pump; a firewood heating system complements these in the cold winter months. The heating system is designed as a low-temperature temperature system with large radiator surfaces. The photovoltaic panels and the solar collectors are arranged in the south and southwest of the inside courtyard and so do not interfere with the overall impression of the historic building.
