Title: Feasibility study on renewable energy resources to help the poor in Nigeria
The Ashdam Initiative is funded by Ashdam Solar Company, which diverts 20% of its annual income to meet the needs of poor people across Nigeria by installing Renewable Energy Systems in the following areas: health clinics and hospitals, agriculture, water supply, and security. Ashdam Initiative is conducting a feasibility study on Renewable Energy in villages across Nigeria to examine how poor people can benefit from Renewable Energy Resources. The initiative also aims to create employment for villagers by training them in the manufacture of Solar Thermal Equipment such as Solar Crop Dryers and Solar Distillation Units.
