Title: Complex Use of Renewable Energy Sources - Wind, Sun and Water
Georgia has a wealth of untapped renewable energy resources. While well centralized energy is widespread (electricity, natural gas), majority of supply deficiencies exist in rural and mountainous areas of using the renewable energy sources. Herewith, the main source of heating in rural and mountainous areas still remains wood. Georgia also has vast reserves of wind, hydroelectric and solar energy. This project seeks to quantify both the demand for and the potential supply of renewable energy for Georgia and to optimize renewable energy production. The two existing Georgian patents associated with the project involve a complex mixed-energy generator that is to be installed and tuned to the combination of demand and optimal mix of renewable energy sources.
