Title: Energy management based on extensive, transparent initial data
There is energy-saving potential of up to 30% in almost any energy system. To activate this potential, we need to know where how much energy is consumed. To provide this knowledge, the German firm EMU developed a specialized status quo analysis: All energy loads are graphically displayed via a database. This provides an overview and continuous control of energy consumption. This helps to detect energy-saving potential. Then respective measures are applied based on prioritization. The project seeks to make energy consumption transparent for users and to motivate them to save energy. In addition, energy consumption parameters can be used for comparisons and calculations. The project is currently in the completion phase. For small properties, a status quo analysis requires a few weeks; for large companies, several months.
