Implemented country: Niger
The peripheral surrounding populations of main urban cities of Niger suffer of lack of sanitation (inducing recurrent epidemic diseases), and of poverty due to the lack of job and affordable human purchasing power (creating recurrent periodic food crisis). The project targets rural outlying population and poor marginalized urban citizen, mainly women and young. It will help this population to have a safer living environment with better health conditions and will create appropriate financial and economic activities in the zone facilitating their accessibility to secured jobs, proper energy, appropriate housing and infrastructure, and upgraded agriculture (farming & gardening) system.
