For photovoltaics, the available solar radiation, the determining factor, the energy available is determined by the geographical location, cloud cover, shading and influences the orientation of the plant and the temperature behavior. In alpine location there are several positive effects such as reduced filtering of sunlight through the atmosphere, lower temperatures and less cloud cover to carry through the fog. The project makes sense not only from an environmental and technical point of view but provides as an initial investment of this size in the alpine area of knowledge important for the energy output from a low ambient temperature, additional cooling by wind, albedo effect in the winter and can therefore lead to manufacturers to develop this technology .
