The PV LEGAL project aims at reducing legal-administrative barriers for the development of photovoltaic (PV) systems across 12 European countries. The action is co-funded by the Intelligent Energy for Europe programme, led by BSW-Solar, and executed by 12 national solar industry association, a policy consulting company and the European PV industry association. The project team has initially set-up a publicly accessible database illustrating the legal-administrative procedures required to develop and install a PV system in the participating countries and later analysed the barriers laying within these processes. Currently the project partners are in the final phase of discussing and proposing framework changes resulting in more streamlined and proportionate administrative and grid-connection procedures."/>
