In an interdisciplinary research project, the Cree GmbH has developed a solution for a new sustainable way of living, working and living in the cities of tomorrow: the LifeCycle Tower. The open-type, multi-purpose wood-hybrid construction system for large buildings, largely based on the renewable resource wood. It combines the latest findings from wood construction, architecture, structural engineering, building physics, building services, fire protection and process management. The prefabricated modules in half compared to conventional construction methods of construction and exposure to dirt, dust and noise. Another advantage is the individually planned energy concept (positive-energy or passive house), security for costs and quality, and improved by 90% CO2 balance."/>
