Title: Forest Guard
The system uses people all over the world and computer screen savers to deteckt wildfires in our forests. Solar powered cameras are placed overlooking forests where they are continuously panning and transmitting pictures to a central hub via ethernet radio. These pictures are stiched together to make a wide panorama which is stored in a "cloud" database, which is refreshed every 10 minutes. Screen savers on the user's computers grab random pictures from the cloud via the internet which are then shown on the screen. If a user spots a fire, a key press notifies the appropriate agency.
