Title: Turbine exhaust to boost efficiency as a CO2-free supplement to the gas burner air
At the company Machland in Naarn exemplary compound care measures to increase energy efficiency to improve the energy saving potential. The object was an economically viable, technologically advanced solution for saving electricity and at the same exploit the emerging unused waste heat from various heat processes in a processed form again and define the cooling, which also reserves. The recovery from various production processes, especially in the steam demand, provide the heat recovery process for cooling, water heating, warehouse and office heating and are also complemented by the waste heat from the compressed air. The establishment of a combined heat, cooling and power brings not just the heat generated and the full use of a power-house generation of at least 700,000 kWh, equivalent to 35% of the company's total power demand. Highlight of the system: The exhaust of the turbine is used as burner air-preheating of the boiler used to be 100% recycled.
