Title: BTS Engine

The Blade-Thru-Slot (BTS) rotary engine features very low friction and reduced exhaust losses, providing:

  • hybrid-class efficiency at low cost and complexity;
  • 33% higher efficiency than gasoline engines;
  • 19% higher efficiency than turbodiesel engines;
  • onger lifetime and lower maintenance than conventional engines.

The BTS engine offers vast flexibility for biofuels and hydrogen. Widespread adoption would cut global carbon emissions from transport by 20-45%. The conceptual development is now complete. Practical development and market scale-up requires up to US$50 million along 10 years maximum. A first venture contribution is in principle available, and the rest is being sought.
